Luke is the lead pastor of The Capital Church in Columbus, Ohio. His love for students compelled him, along with a team of people, to start a church committed to helping more people become more like Jesus in Columbus and on the Ohio State campus. Luke and his wife Shaelyn have a son named Brooks and a daughter named Annie.

JAY SANDERS

Jay Sanders is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who serves as the BCM campus minister at the University of South Florida. He was originally born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and was adopted into a family of five from a drug abusing mother. Life began for Jay when he accepted Christ as Savior at the age of seven. He fell in love with the Scriptures and vocational ministry after spending two years at Word of Life Bible Institute and acquiring a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies at Liberty University.

Jay is a family man, husband to Josefina Sanders, a father to twin boys, and a dog lover.

With a contagious personality, joyful heart, and undeniable passion for God and the next generation, Jay communicates in a way that engages outsiders, is culturally relevant, and is gospel centered. His desire is to inspire the next generation to live full and die empty.

Thomas White is a follower of Jesus Christ, married to Joy for almost 25 years, father to Rachel and Samuel, and serves as president at Cedarville University.

CHRIS GOEPPNER

Pastor Chris Goeppner responded to the call of Jesus to leave his community of 20 years in South Florida to launch Riverbank Church in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire in 2010. He and his beautiful bride, Penny, have been married since 1999. In 2008, the Goeppner’s adopted their two sons, Roman and Jadon, from Siberia. His passion is seeing people take their next step in their relationship with Jesus and seeing the gospel advance in New England! He serves as Lead Pastor at Riverbank Church in White River Junction, VT.

JC has spent the majority of the last 22 years serving in churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Utah as a student and college pastor. However, in the fall of of 2022, they started a brand-new church called Hope Church Catoosa!

JC has a passion for seeing people from all walks of life not only meet Jesus but also grow in their own faith through understanding the word, getting connected in community, and biblical discipleship. His desire is to keep you laughing while presenting the truth of the word in a fresh, practical way.

JC wants to make much of Jesus. His fame alone. His Renown alone. His Esteem alone.

Pastor Dennis D’Augostine is a servant of the Lord with a passion for sharing the gospel. He has faithfully followed and served the Lord since he was saved in 1996. In 2005, he married his wife, Kelly, his biggest supporter and ministry partner.

When Dennis was 16 years old, he received Christ at the Word of Life Island. He then attended Word of Life Bible Institute and graduated in 1998. He further studied the Bible and Theology at Baptist Bible College and Seminary.

Dennis has a heart for sharing the gospel with youth, and in college, he was involved in street witnessing ministries. He also worked with various youth ministries before planting Steamtown Church in Scranton, PA. He is the lead pastor of the church and has continued to shepherd there for the last 22 years. He also serves in various capacities in fire and law enforcement chaplaincies in his community. His community involvement also includes various youth sports and programs that he does with his three sons, Michael, Matthew, and Mark.

TIM OWENS

After graduating from high school, God called Tim into full-time vocational ministry. After answering that call, he studied for two years at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and graduated with a Religion and Church Ministry degree. Pastor Tim and his wife have served in many roles in the local church over the past twenty-plus years, including lead pastor, student pastor, associate pastor, and worship pastor. His passion and mission are to lead people to become all that God intends for them to be. In addition to being the Lead Pastor at Mission City, Tim is also the Lead Church Planting Catalyst for Send Network New England and the North American Mission Board. Pastor Tim likes to say that he gets the privilege today to live out his dream of planting Mission City Church and pastoring the people God places within it. He is happily married to his wife Danielle, and they have two amazing boys, Gavin and Garrett. One of Pastor Tim’s favorite hobbies is riding his motorcycle through all the beautiful scenery that Vermont has to offer.
