Several years ago, Word of Life Fellowship established a Camper Scholarship Fund in memory of Donald A. Robertson. For many years “Robbie” was the Word of Life Island Youth Camp Program Director. He was a tremendous man of God with a great love for ministering to young people. God used his contagious personality and vibrant testimony to point many to Jesus Christ. The fund was founded to financially assist young people who desire to attend Word of Life Camps but are not able to because of lack of funds. For more than seven decades, Word of Life Camps have been a refuge for young people to find hope and purpose in a loving environment both in New York and Florida where they are challenged to make spiritual decisions and to live lives that impact their world. This Camper Scholarship Fund has enabled Word of Life to help thousands of young people and their families at our Youth and Family Camps here at Word of Life.

Annually, more than 10,000 children and teens hear the Gospel and are encouraged to grow in their walk with the Lord. This trademark ministry of Word of Life touches the lives of young people in immeasurable ways.
