Living on the Island
Campers stay in super awesome cabins with the best cabin-mates and counselors around. Cabin assignments are made before arrival, so be sure to make any special requests ahead of time by logging in online.
Groups are automatically housed together as much as possible, unless you let us know that you prefer to mix it up!
Experience the Island
High-energy activities, including ropes courses, boating, paintball, sports, climbing walls, a 200-foot water slide and much more, make The Island a summer students will never forget! Meanwhile, students will hear from engaging speakers, experience dynamic worship, be encouraged by godly counselors and develop new friendships – all designed to help them connect with God and grow in their faith.
Never run out of things to do.
Sports? Check. Paintball? Yep. High ropes and climbing walls? You betcha. Water tubing? Absolutely! Team tournaments and competitions? We have all that and a 200-foot waterslide. (And maybe even a few other fun things too.) If you were ever going to be stranded on an island, this is The Island to be stranded on!
Specialty Camps
Spike a volleyball! Kick the winning soccer goal! Score a slam dunk! Hit a home run! Whatever you aspire to do – let’s focus on that! Specialty Camps allow campers to enjoy the full Island program with an extra special focus on their very favorite activity. Think of it as a custom-ordered camp experience!

Hungry?
All of our meals are served buffet style and we don’t want anyone to leave hungry! Campers can eat as much as they like at every meal and are always welcome to grab snacks at the Snack Shack between meals.
A well-balanced diet is served throughout the week and meals are prepared under strict supervision, using the finest quality ingredients. Learn more about addressing food allergies at camp in our FAQs.
Programs and Meetings
At The Island, we want to see every young person make a life-changing decision for Christ, accept Him as Savior, grow closer in relationship with Him and develop the desire and tools to share their faith with others. Every element of camp is designed with this in mind.
In particular, campers will connect with God and grow in their faith as they hear from engaging speakers, experience dynamic worship, are encouraged by godly counselors and develop new friendships. At Word of Life, we love nothing more than getting students excited about living their lives for Christ.
