ERICK GIL

Erick is originally from the beautiful country of the Dominican Republic. He is passionate about the gospel and seeing people coming to know Jesus as their Savior. As a pastor, Erick loves to build relationships with students and help them take their faith in Jesus Christ more seriously. He currently serves as the young adults pastor at Maranatha Bible Church in Akron, Ohio. Erick is married to the love of his life, Jenny, and they have two daughters, Emerson and Elessi.

BRENT FINCHUM

Brent Finchum and his wife Stacy are youth ministries missionaries/coaches living in Birmingham, Alabama. During the years of serving churches, they have had the opportunity to minister thousands of students, both in the USA and abroad. Through their ministry they challenge young people to become wholly devoted followers of Christ. They aspire to see this generation rise up and lead a movement that will wake up the church and change the world as we know it.

We’re still working out who the speaker will be for this week, but you can be sure it’ll be someone who will challenge your campers with scripture and integrity!

RICH ANDREWS

Rich and Lynn have been serving with Word of Life since 1992. They ministered on Word of Life Island in Schroon Lake, NY for 4 summers and at Word of Life Ranch in Pottersville, NY as the Co-Director for 5 summers. They were asked to join the staff of Word of Life Florida in Hudson in 2000. Rich currently serves as the Word of Life Director of Florida Ministries. They are both graduates of the 1st and 2nd year program at Word of Life Bible Institute and Rich has a Bachelor of Science from Trinity College of New Port Richey, Fl. in Management and Ethics. God has blessed them with three energetic and enthusiastic kids (Gavyn, Javen, Lynneah)

Ethan and his wife Ashley are alumni of the Word of Life Florida Bible Institute and have been serving with the ministry for 10 years. Ethan is the Assistant Camp Director at The Coast and is passionate about seeing Campers trust Christ as their Savior, just as he did 17 years ago at a Summer Camp. Because his life was changed for eternity at camp as a student, he is thrilled to help other students achieve the same life change that comes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

KYLE GRAY

I was raised in a pastors home so I heard the Gospel from a very young age. I remember being in the car with my dad and asking him how could I have Jesus in my heart like my older brother. That day he walked me back through the beautiful truth of how Christ died in my place to pay for my sins. And that He rose again to prove He had defeated death and the grave. HE told me that by grace through faith I could have a personal relationship with Christ.

BRANDON ARNOLD

Brandon has been leading worship for over 15 years, traveling to locations all around the world spreading the Gospel, and encouraging the church through song. Growing up, he was introverted, and did not like the attention that came when people realized his musical talents, so he hid them for many years… It wasn’t until he was 15 that the Lord was able to finally get a hold of his heart and reveal to him that his talents and abilities were not to hide in a closet, nor to make a name for himself, but to point others to Jesus and His kingdom.

JC GROVES

JC has been in full-time ministry for 22 years. He was the founding campus pastor of Rock Bridge Community Church (Ringgold Campus), where he served for nine years until God moved his family to serve in student and college ministry in South Georgia. In 2022, God called the Groves family to move yet again, this time back to North Georgia. They took a step of faith, loaded the U-Haul, and headed north – with no job, home, or idea what they were supposed to do. God showed them His plan by opening the door for them to launch Hope Church Catoosa in February 2023. In addition to pastoring, JC serves as a radio host on Moody Radio and hosts The Recovering Fundamentalist Podcast. This weekly podcast is designed to encourage those who have been negatively affected by fundamentalist legalism in the church and to challenge those who promote tradition over Scripture. JC has a passion to see people from all walks of life not only meet Jesus, but also own their faith! His desire is to keep you laughing while presenting the truth of the Word in a fresh, practical way. JC and his wife, Kym, have been together for 17 years and have six kids ranging in age from 13 to 5 years old.
