A Spiritual Retreat Like No Other

Snowcamp Young Adults Weekend features all the Christian encouragement and nonstop fun you’d expect from Word of Life Camps, but it’s geared toward a slightly older audience. Here are a couple ways Young Adults Weekend is different from our typical Snowcamp program:

It’s designed specifically for ages 18–28
Saturday night will feature a worship night

During your getaway, you’ll have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with your roommates and fantastic room hosts in our camp housing (guys and girls are housed separately).

Optionally, married couples who would like to be housed together may book a room (additional rates apply). If you’re interested in this option, please contact our registrar’s office.

Get to Know Our Speaker

Mike Bream

Growing up in western Pennsylvania, Mike found himself immersed in sports, board games, laughter, the outdoors, and most importantly God. After graduating from Liberty University with a Biblical studies degree and getting married in 2008, Mike moved to Texas to become the Associate Student Pastor at Hillside Community Church in North Fort Worth. In the last 10 years, he has become the Lead Student Pastor and still has the same energy and passion (if not more) for students that he started with in 2010. Self-admittedly, Mike has never been the "cool" student pastor- he is a consistent and faithful presence in his students' lives as they transition from childhood into young adulthood. He enjoys teaching in a way that highlights God's perfect design and creative intent for anyone that follows Christ so that they can fully live the abundant life that Jesus promises. Unashamedly, Mike isn't affected by a students' popularity, successes, failures, family wealth, or "shame history"- the Gospel is for ALL.

Drew Burtis

Drew is the Dean of Students at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. Before this, he served as the Student Ministries Pastor at Grace Chapel in Skaneateles, NY. He received his bachelor's degree from Clarks Summit University in Clarks Summit, PA, and his Master of Divinity from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN.

Drew is married to his wife Brittany and has two beautiful children, Adeline and Judah. Drew is passionate about discipleship and helping people take the next step toward knowing Jesus and living like Jesus. He also loves all things related to coffee and golf!
