What programs do you offer for children during summer camp?

Deepening our relationship with The Lord is one of the most important things we do during the week; that’s why we provide programs for everyone! The children and youth programs are designed to help your children experience their faith in their own special way while you are at peace of mind to be refreshed  in the Word during our adult sessions.


Infants and children up to age 6 can be dropped off at Kids Cove 15 minutes before each session, and picked up before lunch.


Ages 7-18 will go the first morning session with you, and then head to their program with our team after worship.


For children under 13, please use kidcheck at: wol.is/kidcheck to register them for their programs.

Adventurers (7-12 Years) Basecamp (Meeting Room #3)

Thrive Teens (13-18 Years) Greenhouse (Below Poolside)

What is the dining experience like?

All meals are included during the Spring and Fall Weekend Retreats.
During the Summer Breakfast & Dinner are included each day.

Lunch- We do not include lunch in the cost because many choose to go out for their afternoons – hiking, day trips to Lake George or Lake Placid, white water rafting etc. Otherwise, you can choose to pre-buy your lunch pass for the entire week at registration or you can purchase daily when you go to lunch.

Dining Attire- Our dining room is casual, comfortable attire. (No Swimwear) Our guests tend to enjoy dressing “smart casual” in the evenings.

Allergies- We do accommodate some food restrictions. Please be sure to call the customer service department two weeks prior to arrival that you need to speak with the chef to make your requests known. During your stay, please notify the dining room hostess/host upon your entry at the dining room so our chef can be notified that your meal should be prepared.

Is transportation available?


We provide van shuttle service to and from Albany International Airport for $20/person/trip on Saturdays and $25/person/trip Sunday – Friday.


If you need van shuttle service from Albany International Airport or the Pottersville Bus Station, please call (518) 494-1461 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM weekdays or e-mail melissawilliamson@wol.org to give advance notice. Please have your flight information ready when you call.

Do your summer staff accept tips and gratuities?

Most of our summer staff are missionaries. Some are 100% volunteer; others raise support to give them an income over the summer. All tip money is pooled and goes towards helping the summer staff with needs that might arise, programs for them, fun staff nights, and other things that improve their camp life.

How much will summer camp cost?

The Lodge prices vary depending on the age of each child, the number of family members & your accommodations. For specific pricing & registration, call customer service at 1.518.494.6000 option 1.

What does checkout look like?

Breakfast is at 7:30am.

Checkout is at 9:00am.

Fall & Spring
Brunch is at 10:15am.

Checkout is at 12:00pm.

Pre- registration- If you would like, staff will be available at this time for reservations for next year. Otherwise, you can call 1-518-494-6000 to pre-register.

Is there an ATM on property?

Yes. It is located in the High Peaks Lobby.
