A graduate of Moody Bible Institute, The King’s College, and Dallas Theological Seminary, he has also done graduate work in music at the University of North Texas and Vanderbilt University. Wyrtzen’s forte is his improvisational ability at the keyboard. He was a protégé of Lillian Hawley Gearhart, a student of the renowned Theodor Leschetizsky.
