Be at the center of all the action. The Retreat Center is home to the pool, Fitness Center, and lobby, where lots of new friendships get their start! When you stay at the Retreat Center, you’ll have easy access to all of our activities and a community feel, where you’ll experience time with family and other large groups.
Deluxe rooms offer two queen beds or one king bed. These rooms are fully equipped with chairs, a dresser and a modest table, along with a fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and a phone.
Standard rooms have two double beds, chairs, a dresser and a modest table.
Be our guest at William’s Motel
After a day of adventure, come home to the newly-renovated William’s Motel. The intimate setting of William’s Motel offers two room options.
Deluxe Queen Rooms are equipped with a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds with built-in drawers. You’ll also have a fridge, microwave, table and chairs, iron and ironing board, and a private deck with two chairs for your comfort.
Standard Double Rooms have a double bed and a single bed, as well as an iron and ironing board, table and chairs, and a private patio with two chairs.
Savor the cabin life in our Lakeview Lodges
Sit back in an Adirondack chair and watch the shimmering lake from your deck. Our newly renovated Lakeview Lodges are each named after Adirondack high peaks.
Choose from an upper room with a king bed or a downstairs room with two queen beds and the optional use of adjoining doors. All options are furnished with two chairs, a dresser and modest table. Enjoy the rustic feel of cabin living with the comfort of air conditioning and contemporary appliances like a fridge, coffee maker, and iron and ironing board.
Cozy up in Norman’s Nest, a private, Adirondack-style cabin
Relax on the front porch of Norman’s nest and watch the lake glisten. This private cabin, decorated in Adirondack-style, will become your own home away from home. You can head to the dining room or any of the activity sites to meet new friends, or retreat to your cabin for time alone with God. However you spend your days, with Norman’s Nest as home base, you’ll have the ideal opportunity to recharge.
Norman’s Nest is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin with a queen bed, two twin beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The full kitchen features a stove, fridge, microwave, sink, table and chairs, and all the pots, pans and utensils you need to make yourself at home.
End your day in a homey room at Journey’s End
Find rest at Journey’s End. These antique economy rooms provide a homey respite where you can recharge at the end of the day’s journey. Journey’s End offers a variety of bed sizes and basic conveniences including a dresser, nightstands, fans and a phone.
You can gather in the lobby to meet other guests. Some rooms feature a desk and chairs or a deck with patio chairs.
Round-trip van shuttles from Albany International Airport, the Pottersville and Schroon Lake Trailways bus stops, the Albany/Rensselaer Train Station (Amtrak or Megabus) and Trailways Greyhound Station are available. There is a $25 fee per person each way.
Because online registration closes at 5 pm on the Thursday prior to camp, we need to have the same deadline for transportation requests.

A Word of Life staff member will meet the camper and can keep return tickets in the camp office until departure time. All parts of the health form must be submitted before transportation can be provided.
All transportations requests must be submitted prior to 5 p.m. the Thursday prior to Saturday departures and Sunday arrivals.
