What programs do you offer for children during summer camp?

We offer programs for all youth ages. When you finish registering your family on Sunday you can head to our Youth program table to receive info for the week.

0-3 years (upstairs in Betsi’s Haven)

Our staff is prepared to care for your little one’s every need. Care for this age group is offered during each morning and evening session & during the Thursday evening concert. Babysitting is also available every afternoon at an additional cost. There are 3 dinner meals during the week where you have the option of either having your child eat at the daycare or with you.

4-7 (Downstairs in Betsi’s Haven)

Their mornings are full of games, songs, a lesson, crafts, outdoor playtime & many adventures. Babysitting is available each afternoon at an additional cost. There are 3 dinner meals during the week where you have the option of either having your child eat at the daycare or with you.

8-12 years (The left room underneath the pool area)

They start each morning worshipping God in the adult sessions. Afterwards, they head out with their leaders to experience their faith through hands on learning, adventure, and endearing friendships! Babysitting is available each afternoon at an additional cost.

Teen Program (right under the pool area)

They start each morning in worship with the adult sessions. After worship, they will experience life & God together as they hike, have their lesson overlooking the Adirondacks, take a boat to a sand bar where they have growth time around a campfire, have a beach party, adventure on Word of Life Island, & so much more.

What is the dining experience like?

All meals are included during the Spring and Fall Weekend Retreats.
During the Summer Breakfast & Dinner are included each day.

Lunch- We do not include lunch in the cost because many choose to go out for their afternoons – hiking, day trips to Lake George or Lake Placid, white water rafting etc. Otherwise, you can choose to pre-buy your lunch pass for the entire week at registration or you can purchase daily when you go to lunch.

Dining Attire- Our dining room is casual, comfortable attire. (No Swimwear) Our guests tend to enjoy dressing “smart casual” in the evenings.

Allergies- We do accommodate some food restrictions. Please be sure to call the customer service department two weeks prior to arrival that you need to speak with the chef to make your requests known. During your stay, please notify the dining room hostess/host upon your entry at the dining room so our chef can be notified that your meal should be prepared.

Customer service may be contacted at 518-494-6000.

Do your summer staff accept tips and gratuities?

Most of our summer staff are missionaries. Some are 100% volunteer; others raise support to give them an income over the summer. All tip money is pooled and goes towards helping the summer staff with needs that might arise, programs for them, fun staff nights, and other things that improve their camp life.
